Inside the EU the bundle usually takes care of itself. Outside it the manual work starts: a request to IT, a spare SIM card from the drawer, an expense claim afterwards and an invoice nobody predicted. Travelsim, our business travel eSIM, replaces that with a profile the employee orders themselves, which stops when the trip stops.
How it runs

Order it yourself
The employee logs in with their company account, picks a destination and period and sees straight away which bundle goes with it.

Delivered digitally
The eSIM profile goes to the device through Intune or Jamf. Without MDM the portal delivers the eSIM by email.

Active on arrival
The bundle starts as soon as the device arrives in the country, not at the moment of ordering.

Off after the trip
After the period the bundle stops. No subscription keeps running to be spotted on an invoice six months later.

For people who are not travelling now and then, but always on the move
Travelsim works per trip: you order a bundle for a destination and a period. For someone who works internationally as a rule, that is awkward. Roaming as a Service is the continuous version: one connection per person with worldwide coverage, without arranging anything per country or per trip.
Management is the same as everywhere else: usage and costs per user, thresholds and caps per profile, and the same reporting. For the employee nothing changes en route, because there is nothing to request.
